02 — Why it matters

Why this service matters here.

Patios are usually a mix of surfaces — concrete or pavers underfoot, wood or composite if there's a deck, and stone or stucco on adjacent walls. Each takes a different method. The wrong call (pressure on a stained deck, for example) blows the wood fibers apart and leaves a fuzzy surface that holds stain unevenly. The right call gets every surface clean without compromising any of them.

03 — Our approach

How we work.

Concrete and stone patios get the surface-cleaner pass we use on driveways. Wood and composite decks get a soft wash with a wood-safe cleaner — different solution chemistry than house siding, tuned for tannin stains and mildew. Pavers get attention to the joints, where sand and weeds collect. We treat each material on its own terms.

What to expect on the day.

Typical patio work runs 1–3 hours. We move what we can move (furniture, grills, planters, kids' toys) and ask you to clear what's fragile. Final result is dry within a few hours; sealed wood and freshly-cleaned composite look noticeably different from the rest of the yard for a week.

04 — Common questions

Common questions for this service.

Don't see your question? Call or text (210) 577-6382.

01

Can you clean a stained wood deck without damaging the stain?

Yes — soft washing is specifically gentle enough not to strip stain that's still intact. We can't restore stain that's already failing, but we can clean around it and tell you honestly whether you're due for a refinish. We can recommend deck specialists for that work if needed.

02

What about paver patios with sand joints?

We clean pavers carefully — too much pressure blows the joint sand out. The right approach is a moderated pressure pass with the wand angled to lift surface grime without scouring the joints. Lost joint sand can be re-swept with polymeric sand if needed (separate service).

03

Will you damage my outdoor furniture?

We move it out of the work zone before we start. Anything too heavy to move (built-in fire pits, fixed pergola posts) we work around carefully.
